BikeArt are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulations 2018). We collect information about you to process your order (for goods, services or hire) and secondly to provide you with the best service possible. We will not email you unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing emails.

The type of information we will collect about you when you place an order or make a booking (for hire or workshop services) includes:

• Email Address
In addition, for any hire we hold your valid ID and emergency contact name and number.
This information is stored on hard copy records and destroyed immediately on completion of transaction. We will never collect sensitive information about you. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We will not transfer or sell your information.

When you make an online payment for an order or hire you are either passed to our payment provider PayPal. We use the information you provide for the following purposes:
• To act as security while you are hiring our cycles.
• To ensure we have a point of contact in the event of any problems.
• We may also ask for your telephone number which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem.
